My name is Mate Valuch, and I’m a tattoo artist based in the Netherlands, originally born in Hungary. Tattooing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — it shaped me, taught me, and gave me the chance to travel, meet inspiring people, and grow through every project.

Over the past 15 years, my tattoo style has developed through many different phases. I started with the simplest designs, focusing on learning strong fundamentals — clean lines, solid shading, and understanding how tattoos heal and age.

Today I focus on big body parts and complex compositions, either built around realism or inspired by Japanese and Asian traditional visuals. For me, nothing creates stronger impact than a well-designed large-scale tattoo — one that flows with the anatomy, feels transparent and solid at the same time, and stays powerful for years.
